Finding Your Perfect Ring Size
A practical guide to measuring with confidence.
When shopping for engagement or fashion rings, most people focus on the essentials: design, material, quality, and price. But one crucial detail is often overlooked — fit.
Getting the right ring size isn’t always straightforward. Sizing systems vary across countries:
A US size 8 is equivalent to
Size 18 in Germany
Size 16 in Japan
Size Q in the UK
Confusing? We know. To make things easier, we offer standard U.S. ring sizes across our entire collection — including extended sizes — so you don’t have to guess or compare charts from different countries.

Why Ring Sizing Isn’t an Exact Science
Your ring size can fluctuate throughout the day and change with:
- Temperature
- Salt intake
- Hormonal changes (e.g. pregnancy)
- Medical conditions like arthritis
- Time of day
Even between hands, sizes can differ — your dominant hand is often slightly larger. And if you're planning a surprise proposal, it's even more challenging to get an accurate measurement.

Measuring at Home
If you can't get professionally sized at a jeweler, here's what you'll need:
✔️ A piece of string or paper strip
✔️ A pen
✔️ A ruler (mm)
Steps:
- Wrap the string around the base of your finger (not the knuckle).
- Mark where the string overlaps.
- Measure the length in millimeters.
- Use our size chart above to find the closest match.
Tips for Accuracy:
- Measure at room temperature
- Avoid measuring when hands are swollen (e.g. after exercise or salty meals)
- Measure a few times for consistency
- If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up for comfort
